She is currently a Fox News contributor. She began her media career as a producer for Fox News’ Huckabee and then as a CNN contributor.

McEnany was born and raised in Tampa, Florida on April 18, 1988. She is the daughter of Michael and Leanne McEnany, owners of a large roofing firm. McEnany was a student at Tampa’s Academy of the Holy Names, a private Catholic preparatory school.
She majored in international politics after graduating from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in Washington, D.C. and studied abroad at St Edmund Hall, Oxford. She studied politics at Oxford under the tutelage of future British Shadow Home Secretary Nick Thomas-Symonds. McEnany spent three years as a producer on the Mike Huckabee Show following his graduation from Georgetown.
